People are just plain nuts. Check this out; in Richmond, VA yesterday, a school district was selling their old iBooks for $50 each. That's a great price, for sure. But is that reason enough to whack people with a folding chair? Is that reason enough to shove old people to the ground and run over crowds with your car? No. Of course not.
But is it reason enough to wet yourself so that you won't lose your place in line?
Yeah, it probably is.
You can read the whole story here but make sure you go potty first.
Well, the Chiefs have started training camp. In fact, they've been at it for a week already. So we all know what that means. That's right, it's time for me to start blogging aout the Chiefs again. I can't even tell you how many thousands of emails I've received asking me when I'm going to revive blogging about the Chiefs. It makes sense; the Chiefs are America's favorite football team and I am America's favorite blogger for said team. (Never mind the fact that we won the Super Bowl last year!)
Here are my two thoughts on the Chiefs' season:
1.) Our defense is going to be WAY better this year. That will be fun. It'll be like the 90's, except with some offense.
2.) Our offense won't be quite as good as they have been the past 3 years. The O-line is getting old. They're almost my age.
3.) The Chiefs are probably going to win the Super Bowl. Party at my house on February 5th, 2006. Put it in your calendars, people.
4.) There are three thoughts. Not two. And not four.
That's how I see it. I'm not alone in my assessment, though. Check out this article on espn.com by John Clayton. This guy knows what he's talking about. I'm basing my assessment of his expertise on the fact that he is currently saying nice things about the Chiefs. So that could change in the future. I'll keep you posted. But for now... enjoy the article... And I'll see you in February.
