Maywidge.
This is a candid picture of Nica and I "negotiating" our menu selection at a restaurant on Mackinac Island. Mike was kind enough to take this picture. Thank you, Mike.
You see, when a man is joined to a woman in the holy bond of matrimony, he inherently gives up certain freedoms. One unforseen suspension of liberty, for better or for worse, is the ability to open up a menu and order from it all by oneself...like a grown up. Nay, once "The Two become One," they must begin eating as one. From one plate. In unity and harmony. Even if 1/2 of this new "One" doesn't like mushrooms.
But snuggling is nice. So I guess you take the good with the...less-good. Right?

Cultural Sensitivity.
My brother-in-law Isaac is in China right now. He's soaking in this ancient culture and learning about a proud people. It's very, very cool.
Another thing that is cool is that he's taking pictures of all of the bizarre ways English is being used there. Oh, man. It's funny. You should Take a look.
... But, you know. Proud tradition, big wall, all of that. That's what's important.
