Danni Boatwright, a sportscaster and fellow Kansas Citian, was a contestant on this season's reality TV institution Survivor.
And she won.
A million dollars.
But what's really great about Danni is that she wore a KC Chiefs cowboy hat throughout the show. She's a good woman. And a rich woman.
In an ironic twist, The KC Chiefs lost this week...to the Dallas Cowboys.
At least Danni didn't wear a horse with a Chiefs logo on her head.

I was dissapointed that they didn't get further than they did with this being Dick Vermille's (sp?) last year *tear*. Well, thanks again.
Posted by: Grant at January 9, 2006 09:22 PMDid you know that Danni is also a Christian and has been giving her testimony at various events since she won on Survivor? Yea!
Posted by: Mom Halula at January 11, 2006 11:41 AMI didn't realize people had commented here! Oops!
Hey, Grant ... We'll see what Herman Edwards can do for us, huh? I'll be honest...I'm not as optimistic as some other folks. If he brings in T.O., I think I might check out for a couple of years and wait for T.O. and H.E. to R.E.T.I.R.E.
And, hello, Mother. Strange meeting you here. I didn't know that Danni was a Christian. That's cool! I saw that she's doing some reporting for the new Kansas City Brigade... check them out if'n you're very bored. www.kcbrigade.com
