There I was-a mere two weeks ago-working on my trusty I-Book. I was happy. Content with the machine that has been, as of late, my one and only connection to the outside world and all sorts of important information that you can find on-line.
Then it happened.
This object that I've put an awful lot of faith in (too much really) began to sputter...click loudly...and over the next few days became a largely useless plastic square. My Hard Drive died.
According to the very nice tech guys at the Apple support store I took it to, my hard drive was, "shot". Which, after I try and get some of the info off of it, I might actually do in an effort to cleanse my frustrations.
Anyway, though it wasn't the cheapest way to do it I'm happy to have gone through the system purge. Its taught me that there is a whole world outside of my laptop. Who knew?
