well, I was going to leave a coment on last one, but it got really long so I'm making new one now. if I can keep it up, I will blog about AI weekly with my prediction. OK, Wes. Let me rephrase then. Singing in-tune is a big deal if you are SINGER. singing out of tune is not such a big deal if you are POP Star. Get it ? Let me ask you this. When was the last time you bought a CD, reason because "Oh My Gosh! She/He is great singer, I gotta have the record!"
answer is ZEEEEEEERO, right? you buy records because you like the song or unique voice or something really hit you, right ? not because singing technique. record suppose to be sounds good or in-tune, if you want to call it that way. but truth is they have 1000 takes to spend, slice them up word by word. mix-in, mix-out, layering. they use so many techniques to make it sound good. now, Millie Vanilli doesn't sound so bad anymore, doesn't it? my point was they went through heck of a audition process. they are the 12(now 11) finalist from 50 or 100 whatever thousand people who applied for the audition. I think all of them are not so bad like a lot of people think. several pitch problem doesn't bother me. you can always correct them anyway. that's why singing in-tune is not my first priority when you are looking for POP star. and yes. it is important to sell the record because they will spend millions of dollars to make & promote a record. they have to reimburse the production cost somehow, right ? so it's for their own sake.
well, well, well. it's time for my prediction. Sorry ladies. I think one of you guys have to leave tomorrow. Nadia or Mikalah. I think both of them have great personality. especialy Mikalah is still 17 years old. if she gets experience more, she will do better than this time. OK then See you next week :)
