DJ Hiro's fansite is currently down. According to David Klug, the proprietor of said site, he's working on getting it back up. It'll have a new web address and should be fancier than ever.
Keep us posted, Mr. Klug. America needs you now more than ever.
Hey there! Thanks for stopping by. We just got back from a weekend jaunt that brought us to the good people of Michigan and Indiana. Here's a quick recap:
We spent a couple of days at the LCMS Michigan District Jr. High Gathering in Ann Arbor, MI. We did a few shows, ate boxed lunches and spent time with some great Jr. High students. We also got to see our friends, Swen and Dean, and Rev. Bill Yonker.
We then hopped back into the van and headed down to Hagerstown, IN for a community outreach concert at New Testament Church of Christ. The band, One5oh churned out the rock and we churned out the antics as over 500 people from this rural community came to this free outdoor concert. It was a blast to be a part of an event designed to bring the non-churched community into awareness of the Church. We had a really fun show which included audience volunteers Ryan and Becky "moving" us into a seated town meeting. It was funny and relaxing. Thanks guys!
Note from Mike: "I noticed that Wes isn't in either of these pictures. I want everyone to know that he was present on this trip. To appease him and his waiting fans, here is a picture of him. Enjoy!"

After the LCMS National Gathering, we rented a car and drove to Cocoa Beach, FL. Along the way, we stopped and asked for directions from a gas station. I was on my way into the station when I saw Molly lying face down on the ground. This poor little angel had obviously been through the ringer. So, with all of the empathy I could muster, I delicately lifted Molly from her filthy home and set her gently on the windshield of our car. The other HFT members, still inside the car, squealed with compassion.
Later, Mike felt like we could do more for Molly than just set her on the windshield. So he lovingly turned on the windshield wipers. This was much more effective than any of us could have known. For now our dear Molly was wedged between the wiper and the hood. It was as though she was getting a permanent hug from the car; a hug that she desperately needed...and deserved.
We took Molly to the beach with us for a day of fun and surf. Molly decided to stay on the car where she felt safe. We didn't judge or make any condescending remarks.
After our fun day at the beach, we took Molly for a fun ride on the interstate, for fun. She seemed to enjoy the nice breeze. When the rain started pouring down, Molly had an excellent opportunity to rinse off some of the dust she seemed to have collected at her old home, the gas station curb in rural Florida. Once again, Mike lovingly turned on the wipers. It was really quite amazing to see how well Molly cleared the windshield. Bless her little heart.
Molly has a new home, in a new ditch. She seems quite happy at the car rental place near the Orlando International Airport. Keep in touch, Molly. Let us know if you end up on the windshield of an Airbus or 747.
