DJ Hiro has blogged on!

Hiro.jpgThe moment we've all been waiting for has finally arrived...DJ Hiro has joined the world of blog!

Keep track of all things Hiro at www.happyfuntime.com/blog/hiro. Head there now and interact with one of improv comedy's finest DJ/Musicians.

FYI: The hand on Hiro's head in this picture is that of Mike. Contrary to public opinion, Hiro does NOT have a hand growing out of his head. Oh, and Mike does not have a Hiro growing out of his hand. We apologize for any confusion.

HFT on the run.

Frankfort Laptops.jpg

Hey folks. We just had another fun show at one of our favorite spots on earth. I'm, of course, talking about Camp Arcadia on the shore of Lake Michigan.

Lake Michigan Bluff.jpg

Wow. Nice.

We're on our way to Iowa to perform at Hidden Acres Christian Center. This is a camp where Mike spent a lot of time during his high school days. So the rest of us HFT folks are hoping this will answer some questions about him.

Then it's off to Orlando, FL, for the LCMS National Gathering. HFT is hosting the Cabana Club stages for the whole Gathering. That should be a hoot. Make sure you stop by and say hello. Maybe check out our newest member, DJ Hiro!

Stay in school.

DJ Hiro's new website!

Well, it's official. HappyFunTime has it's first unofficial fansite. Of course, those members of HFT that have been slaving away for 3-5 years are not the ones that get a fansite. No. The new guy gets it.

That's right, DJ Hiro is the one. Maybe it's because he's "cool." Maybe it's because he is a musician. Maybe it's because he's a DJ. Maybe it's because he's Japanese.

Whatever the reason, he's got one. And, despite our bitter rage, the rest of us are happy for him. Check out the site at...

Of course, a shout out to our homie, David Klug. The guy is a genius.

HFT @ LIFEST, part II

Well, what do you know? LIFEST was really incredible again this year. Thanks for checking us out. We really appreciate the love and support we get from you crazy folks out there.

We had four really fun shows. Two of them were just stupid late at night; Friday night was at midnight and Saturday night was at 1:00 am. But you still came out in droves to pack out our stages. Bless your little hearts!

Hey, tell us about your favorite part of this year's LIFEST. It was a great event with great bands and great greatness. Share your thoughts with the world, huh?

Summer in the Son

Hey Kentucky Christian College Summer Fun-Havers.

HFT has been kicking it old-school with our friends at Summer in the Son at Kentucky Christian College. That's been really great hanging out with some cool new people. Check out our highlights from the first two shows and give us your comments on the shows, too...

Week One Highlight:

During 3 Things, Mike is trying to mime zucchini to Wes. Wes looks at the mime, then guesses, "Zoo-da-bikini?" Yes, Wes. Zoo-da-bikinis exist.

Week Two Highlight:

Once again, Mike and Wes work on their communication skills. Todd, the poor guy that has been forced to basically baby-sit HFT for Summer in the Son, gets a hilarious voice message from Mike. See, Wes thought it would be a laugh-riot to call Todd and tell him that we were waiting for him at the airport in Lexington. So Mike left basically that message on Todd's cell phone voice mail. Todd freaked. His pregnant wife freaked. Everyone freaked. Then we told them all we were joking. Then they didn't laugh.

ahem.

We've got one more show on Monday, July 5th...we think.

Keep in touch with us and let us know how "Y'all" are doing. Peace out.
